In our beautiful remote mountain lodge, our heli-skiers and snowboarders find a luxurious but cozy atmosphere with accommodation in spacious double or single rooms, all with ensuite bathrooms.
From the dining room and the balcony, you'll be impressed with views of the Tyaughton Lake and the surrounding majestic peaks. Relax around the massive stone fireplace, enjoy a drink, play pool and dart in the lounge or re-live your day of heli-skiing on the video while ours chefs prepare your dinner buffet.
Enjoy our games room with ping-pong and foosball; a fitness room and a sauna are also available. Our resident masseuse is always on hand to relieve any aching muscles. After skiing, coffee, tea and home cooked treats are served in the lounge. Many guests also enjoy a relaxing soak in the outdoor jacuzzi with its panoramic view of the lake and mountains.
The Gift shop offers a wide variety of ski accessories including goggles, sun glasses, touques and our famous powder gloves. You also find the latest in heli-fashion, other souvenirs and postcards.
If conditions are unfavourable for skiing, try some snowmobiling, snowshoeing, ice fishing or simply enjoy a leisurely walk on the nearby trails. With its splendid wilderness location, western charm and numerous indoor and outdoor activities, Tyax Mountain Lodge is also ideal for non-skiing guests accompanying heli-skiers on vacation. Everyone enjoys the magnificent scenery, pure winter air and tranquil setting.
